This long-time spot has been serving the same, soul-filling, delicious BBQ for generations. The restaurant was named Old Hickory in 1954, thanks to the hickory wood used to create the distinctive BBQ.
Not much has changed in terms of the menu at the restaurant, and this family-owned eatery aims to continue the high-quality standards set all those years ago.
And Ole South Barbeque is an unassuming little spot from the outside, but inside? Barbecue greatness awaits!
Ole South boasts a full menu of simple Southern barbecue eats such as pulled pork, BBQ ribs, and a slew of sides and fixin's.

A newer spot in Owensboro, Tri-R-Tips Hawaiian-style BBQ rolled into town in 2017 and has made quite a name for itself.

Offering a mix of the classics -- mouth-watering pulled pork, ribs, and chicken -- Tri-R-Tips takes things to the next level with BBQ creations like pulled pork nachos and homemade jerky.
