There's a lot to do out there during various harvest seasons, and we hope you enjoy it. Why not pick some strawberries this summer for a fun activity fit for everyone?
Welcome to Tenth Street Orchard, a farm in Sterling, Kansas that we think is oh so sweet. Just look at those berries.
This farm is a pick-your-own strawberry, blackberry, corn, and fruit orchard. There's a little bit of everything, all ready throughout the summer!
Not only can you enjoy a nice day outside picking your own food, but there's a designated kids' play area where they can run a little wild and stay out of the fields if they need to.
The strawberries are usually ready around May-June, and in June you can also stock up on veggies while you're here. Two for one trip!
Not only can you go pick them yourself, but you can sign up on their Facebook page to pick up a "Berry Bundle" so you're always sure there's at least a basket for you.
What will you do with your strawberries? They have recipes up on their website, if you need a few ideas. They're really delicious if you take the time to try some!
Whether you wait until picking time or reserve a basket of your own, these strawberries can't be beat.
