Have you heard that you can take a tour of a historic Kansas town from the comfort of a trolley? If you've never seen all the history that Dodge City has to offer, this historic trolley tour will help you cover all of it in one trip.
Dodge City has a lot of history that can be a little hard to navigate through on your own. There's an easy way to see it all, though, and that's their historic trolley tour!
During the warmer months, Dodge City's tourism department is in full swing, operating a trolley that takes you through all of the most important spots in town for a history lesson.
You'll visit the Longbranch Saloon, the "deadline," Fort Dodge, Front Street, and even the Santa Fe Trail.
Listening to all the historic facts and stories might be a lot of information to process, but it sure is fun to think about all of the people who became a part of this town's history.
Though the tour does discuss fallen figures, they are kid-friendly, and interesting to most ages. It's always amazing to hear stories of old outlaws and cowtown life.
Learning a little bit of everything while you're here really starts the drive to learn more about Kansas's history.
Tour dates and events are hosted on the Dodge City Convention & Visitors Bureau Facebook page.
