Kansas City is lucky to have so many amazing vineyards located within arm's reach. Of course, that means that you should check out each one! This remote winery is a great place to start when you're in need of a day off. Planning the trip is half the fun!
Welcome to the scenic and relaxing Vox Vineyards.
Have you ever thought about visiting a vineyard, but you never got around to it? Here's your chance... and you don't have to go far to find it. It's right here in Kansas City!
No matter the season, you'll find yourself in awe of the vibes around this place.
Misty mornings, warm afternoons, and even cooler days all feel surreal here. There's just something so magical about rows of grape vines extending under our beautiful Kansas City sky.
The wines they create are amazing. You'll find multiple whites to reds, as well as a few that have won top awards in Berlin.
They use American Heritage grapes, a variety that is native to North America and not imported from elsewhere. However, you'll find that their grapes are as varied as can be.
Vox Vineyards and Winery are in Kansas City, but they have a separate tasting room in nearby Weston.
Take a short drive for the chance to taste more of their wines. You can visit their tasting room at any time, but visits to the vineyards require appointments arranged beforehand.
A relaxing day off, a glass of fine wine, and a view like this? Life just can't get much better.
For more information and scheduling a tour, check out their website here.
Vox Vineyards sits at 19310 NW Farley Hampton Road in Kansas City, Missouri. The tasting room can be found at 1099 Welt Street in Weston, Missouri (and you should definitely visit both!) Here's a handy map to guide your journey. Cheers!
