Great railroad systems are what helped put this great state on the map as a major hub of business and exporting. Even though personal transportation via train is nearly obsolete now, reminiscences of Georgia's humble beginnings can be found all throughout the state. Railroads and trains are still widely used to transport materials, and can be found all over Georgia.

1. Caboose at Stone Mountain Village
Pictured is the Stone Mountain Village Visitor Center, housed in a red caboose. Previous to becoming the visitor center, this caboose was a part of the Georgia Scenic Railroad for many years.
