One of the most unique roadside attractions in Georgia happens to be one part ice cream shop and one part goat farm. Sounds like a strange combination, but it gets wonderfully weirder when you add boiled peanuts, quick snacks, gem mining, and homemade fudge into the mix, too! Goats On The Roof in Georgia is a fun family stop in Tiger that you just have to see to believe.
Goat enthusiasts and ice cream lovers can unite for one incredible roadside attraction --Goats On The Roof.
This unique road side attraction in Georgia has something for everyone! Don't pass this quirky place by.
There is so much to do here, you’ll be able to stay for hours, just make sure you start by petting and feeding the goats!
I loved petting the goats and seeing their silly faces. It also makes for some great photos!
And as the name suggests, these charismatic goats spend a lot of their time chilling on the rooftop taking in the sunshine.
When you arrive, look up! They don't call this place Goats on the Roof for nothing.
The entire roadside stop features various amenities, from gem mining, a playground, Amish Adirondack chairs to sit in and kick back, plus delicious award-winning nitrogen ice cream!
I also love their homemade fudge. The lovely smell of sugar will greet you as soon as you step inside.
The Nitro Goat ice cream flavors range from the seasonal picks like pumpkin pie and apple pie in fall to the weird flavors like Goat Tracks, Nutty Goat, and Goat Poop!
But don’t worry, those weird flavors are just funny names because the end result is a scrumptiously creamy homemade ice cream cup or cone.
You'd probably be surprised to learn that Goats on the Roof sells some of the best ice cream in Georgia, but it's true!
Bring your sweet tooth and dig into a delicious, cold dessert.
Then once you’re done with the sweets, take it back outside where you can meet all the goats and even send a cup of food up to the roof for them to chew on!
The goats will thank you.
Or if you’re lucky, they’ll leave their roof posts to come on down to you.
Moments like these make us giggle uncontrollably.
