Tallulah Falls town is quite small, with a population of under 500, but this is one of the most beautiful places in Georgia.
If you love the outdoors, you won't want to miss this magnificent place. Tallulah Gorge State Park is an absolutely incredible Georgia natural wonder that belongs on everyone's Peach State bucket list.
The waterfall that the town is named for is actually a series of six waterfalls that flow down through the 1,000-foot gorge.
The park offers several different hiking trails at varying skill levels.
There are also three lakes here, including one with a beach that's perfect for swimming in the warm months.
You'll even find opportunities for rock climbing, though note that a permit is required.
The town hosts events throughout the year, such as outdoor concerts.
If you want to see the falls at their mightiest, make sure to check the schedule and visit on a day when there's a scheduled water release from the dam. The sight is incredible!
