Middletown, Delaware, is a small Delaware town that's known for its charming main street and busy business district — and also, the creepy white silo with glowing red eyes that sits just off of the road on the outskirts of town. Year round, the silo spooks those who don't expect it, but in the fall, the Silo's glowing eyes signal the opening of the top Delaware scream park, Frightland. Plan a visit to the park to see how innocent Middletown becomes the best Halloween town in Delaware.
The terrifying landmark silo marks the location of a terrifying park that has been named one of the "Scariest Haunted Attractions in America" by Forbes, Huffington Post, and the Travel Channel.
It's easy to see why Middletown is the best place to celebrate Halloween in Delaware!
Frightland features eight haunted attractions that tell the story of Dr. Thaddeus Idalia. Dr. Idalia went insane when he found his young daughter hanging from the rafters of his very own barn.
In an attempt to bring his daughter back to life, Dr. Idalia began increasingly gruesome experiments on human subjects.
The evidence of his experiments haunt the grounds to this day — from the haunted mansion to the doctor's graveyard.
Every year, thousands of people flock to Frightland to see the results of Dr. Idalia's work in person — will you be one of the brave souls to visit this year?
Hurry up, because Frightland is only open through Halloween!
