Niantic is a small, quaint village in East Lyme that runs along the scenic Long Island Sound. Full of local history, nature, and unique places for shopping and dining, this village has a little something for everyone.
Niantic is the only village in Connecticut that has its Main Street running right along the Long Island Sound. Everywhere you look, this village is full of unforgettable scenery.

Alternatively, Rocky Neck State Park is just a short drive away from Niantic. This 710-acre park has the town's largest beach and is also a popular destination for hiking, fishing, and camping.
