A is for Archaeology.

Colorado is home to more than a dozen archaeological sites including Mesa Verde, Dinosaur Ridge, and the Paint Mines (pictured).

B is for Brewery.

Coloradoans like their beer--SO much, in fact, that the Centennial State has more than 200 breweries!

C is for Casa Bonita.

The Disneyland of Mexican restaurants resides in Lakewood... just don't order anything with meat.

D is for Denver.

The greatest capital city in the WORLD!

E is for Elitches.

AKA Every Colorado child's happy place.

F is for Football.

GO BRONCOS!!!

G is for Great Sand Dunes National Park.

The tallest sand dunes in North America reside in the easternmost parts of Alamosa and Saguache Counties.

H is for Hot Springs.

There are more than two dozen hot springs in Colorado, including the world’s deepest geothermal spring (Pagosa Springs) and the world’s largest hot springs pool (Glenwood Springs).

I is for Interstate 70.

By far the fastest way to get from one side of the state to the other.

J is for Jefferson County.

Home to our beloved frost brewed Coors Light!

K is for Kayaking.

There is never a shortage of things to do in our great outdoors! From kayaking to skiing to horseback riding, the Centennial State has the perfect activity for you!

L is for Larimer Square.

What was once Denver's only city block is now a one-stop shop for the best stores, restaurants, and events in the city!

M is for Mesa Verde National Park.

The National Park is home to some of the best preserved Ancestral Puebloan archeological sites in the country.

N is for (Colorado) National Monument.

Stunning canyons and rock formations make up this great American treasure.

O is for Oil.

Believe it or not, Colorado has numerous oil fields and refineries!

P is for Pikes Peak.

"O beautiful for spacious skies,

For amber waves of grain;

For purple mountain majesties,

Above the fruited plain!"

Q is for Quiet.

Only in Colorado will you find some of the most quiet and peaceful places to kick back and relax.

R is for Rockies.

Win or lose (mostly lose), we love 'em!

S is for Sunshine.

300 days per year, to be exact!

T is for Traffic.

U is for University.

Colorado is home to more than 48 universities, including the highly accredited University of Colorado at Boulder, Colorado State University, and Colorado School of Mines.

V is for Vail.

Only the cutest little mountain town EVER.

W is for Winter.

Winter/snow/blizzards should NOT be this beautiful.

X is for X-Games.

The winter X-Games have been held in Aspen since 2002.

Y is for Yurt.

Why stay in a tent or cabin when you can rent a secluded yurt, (a circular tent with a collapsible framework)?

Z is for Zombies.

Don't be too alarmed if you see zombies roaming the streets of the Front Range; different cities around Colorado host annual zombie runs, crawls, and hunts.
