Northeast Ohio is a fascinating landscape all year round. From January through December, there are festivals, events, and unique attractions in Cleveland that beckon to locals and visitors alike. January: Ice Skating in Public Square

In the colder months, Public Square is transformed into a winter wonderland with the addition of an ice skating rink. March: Lake View Cemetery

As springtime begins, whether March comes in like a lion or a lamb, Lake View Cemetery is breathtaking. Its Victorian garden-style design is a treat, but Daffodil Hill is one of its most incredible features. Daffodils begin to poke through the earth in late March, so you owe yourself a trip to this cemetery for an unrivaled opportunity to witness 100,000 green sprouts poking from an otherwise sleepy and brown ground.

April: University Circle's Fine Arts Garden

April showers may bring May flowers, but the month has its own noteworthy blooms in University Circle. The neighborhood's spectacular Fine Arts Garden is a mishmash of manmade art and natural beauty, and it is positively resplendent in the springtime.

May: Brookside Reservation's Blossom Lane

Cherry blossoms only last for a small window of time, so you'll want to time this trip as perfectly as possible. The first week of May is typically a dreamy time to visit Blossom Lane, a stretch of more than 100 Yoshino cherry trees donated by the Japanese Association of Northeast Ohio. You'll adore a stroll through one of Cleveland's oldest neighborhood parks as its magnificent landscape bursts into bloom.

June: Edgewater Park Beach

June is a real treat for Clevelanders. This month brings us summertime, and it also offers endless sunshine to fuel outdoor fun. One of the best places to visit is Edgewater Park Beach. Whether or not you choose to take a swim, you'll find yourself enchanted by these tropical vibes right on the edge of Cleveland.

July: Put-in-Bay

There’s nothing like a road trip from Cleveland to Lake Erie’s own little paradise island, and no time is better than July to visit Put-in-Bay. You’ll adore Fireworks Over The Bay, their dazzling Independence Day display. Not planning on visiting during this super-busy day of celebration? That’s totally fine! August: Little Italy

October: Mapleside Farms

November: Hale Farm & Village

December: Greater Cleveland Aquarium
