1. Pacific Southwest Railway Museum/La Mesa Depot -- 4695 Nebo Drive in La Mesa.
To see the last and "only surviving railroad station from the San Diego and Cuyamaca Railway" you'll want to head to the Pacific Southwest Railway Museum located in the town of La Mesa in San Diego County.
2. Poway Midland Railroad -- 14154 Midland Road in Poway.
Located in Old Poway Park you'll find the Poway Midland Railroad that's filled with vintage train cars and steam locomotives that are available for the public to ride. With a rotating fleet of trains, you may even get a chance to take a ride on a new locomotive each and every time you visit.
3. The Vintage Steakhouse -- 26701 Verdugo Street in San Juan Capistrano.

For an elegant meal located inside a classic train car, you'll want to head to The Vintage Steakhouse in San Juan Capistrano. Located at the historic train station at the Capistrano depot that dates back to the late 1800s, this is the ultimate way to experience the history of SoCal's rail culture while devouring a hearty steak dinner.
4. Orange Empire Railway Museum -- 2201 S. A Street in Perris.
With hundreds of historic railway cars on display at the Orange Empire Railway Museum, you'll never run out of treasures to see and explore. Not only do you get to tour these historic trains, but you can also hop aboard a variety of rail cars and take a ride.
5. Fullerton Train Museum -- 200 E Santa Fe Avenue
Take a step back in time at the Fullerton Train Museum where you can explore five antique rail cars and learn about the fascinating history of SoCal's railway on a docent-led tour.
6. Pacific Dining Car -- 1310 W. 6th Street in Los Angeles.
Since 1921 Pacific Dining Car has been serving up some of the finest steaks in SoCal inside this old railcar. The warm lighting and old-school charm will make you feel like you've stepped inside a classic old Hollywood film.
7. Carney's Express -- 8351 Sunset Boulevard.
Located inside an antique Pacific Railroad passenger train you'll find some tasty hot dogs and burgers at Carney's Express. This can't-miss eatery located in the heart of Los Angeles along the Sunset Strip is definitely one spot you'll want to add to your train-themed journey.
