Point Reyes is an area on the Pacific coast in Marin County located about 30 miles from San Francisco.

Point Reyes is the windiest place on the Pacific Coast and the 2nd foggiest place in the nation. This is a spot that is not like any other for sure.
Walk and head to lighthouse to try and see catch the whales going up or down the coast. This view will definitely be memorable and unbeatable.
The Point Reyes Lighthouse, built in 1870, and is open for visitors. However, the Lighthouse is closed Tuesday-Thursday every week. Also, you can still walk the stairs down to the lighthouse any time.
An interesting fact about Point Reyes is that there are 12 miles of beaches north of the Point Reyes lighthouse.
The historic Point Reyes Lighthouse is a sight to see from the sea or coast. Coastal views don't come better than this too.
Admire the wildflowers like the California Poppy in this area. There are about over 20 different species of wild flowers.
Hiking is better than average because you'll see the spectacular lighthouse, bear valley trail to arch rock, the seals, and even oysters.
The Point Reyes National Seashore Trail is a 12.3 mile loop trail located with vivid wild flowers.
Trails are strikingly beautiful and otherworldly. There are an extensive number of types of trails that can be found on the National Park Service Site.
Drakes Estero is an expansive estuary in the Point Reyes National Seashore that truly will astound you during low tide. This is a wonderful spot to feel like you're in another world.
You'll feel like you're in Ireland here, but the area around Point Reyes is memorable for even California.
