1. The Ferry Building - 1 Ferry Bldg, San Francisco, 94111
The Ferry Building has San Francisco's most popular farmers market. Also, take the time visit and eat at one of the many restaurants like Slanted Door or take a ferry on the San Francisco Bay.
2. Union Square - 323 Geary St, San Francisco, 94101
Union Square is a big tourist destination, but also a meeting point for locals and visitors alike. This square is one of the few places to get the vibe of San Francisco, and shop as well!
3. San Francisco Museum of Modern Art (SF MOMA) - 151 3rd St, San Francisco, 94103
Visit a critically acclaimed museum that rivals other contemporary art museums in the nation like the MoMA in NYC and the MCA in Chicago. Eat or shop nearby as well at the Moscone Center.
4. Tadich Grill - 240 California St, San Francisco, 94111
A visit to Tadich Grill in the Financial District is requirement for any visitor or local who wants to experience "old San Francisco" at its finest. Try out the Hangtown Fry, originally from Placerville, which has become a San Francisco staple.
5. Embarcadero Waterfront Boardwalk - Piers, The Embarcadero, San Francisco, 94111
This is the most well known boardwalk and attraction in the area and rightly so because it is beautiful. Take a pleasant walk along the Embarcadero, from the Bay Bridge to Fisherman's Wharf. And keep going all the way to Crissy Field if you're up for it!
6. Yerba Buena Gardens - 745 Mission Street, San Francisco, 94103
Yerba Buena offers one of the few open spaces in downtown San Francisco. Nearby attractions include the Metreon, California Historical Society, and the Yerba Buena Ice Skating and Bowling Center.
7. Well Fargo History Museum - 20 Montgomery St, San Francisco, 94104
Visit the often overlooked Wells Fargo’s flagship museum in the heart of the financial district in Downtown. The museum is located where Wells Fargo first opened for business in 1852!
8. Transamerica Pyramid - 600 Montgomery St, San Francisco, 94111
Transamerica Pyramid is a landmark in downtown, and easily spotted because of its pyramidal shape. If you visit, please remember only the first floor of the building is open to the public.
9. Bay Bridge - Pier 14, San Francisco Side
Pier 14 in Downtown San Francisco on the Embarcadero is a great spot for views. Also, admire the views of the Bay Bridge to Yerba Buena Island.
10. The Warfield - 982 Market St, San Francisco, 94102
The Warfield was opened in 1922 as a vaudeville theater. The Warfield is an ornate concert hall, maintaining its original splendor and glory. The Warfield showcases a variety of musical genres.
