1. Aliso Beach
We'll start our beach day at Aliso Beach. This is a big and beautiful beach in Laguna Beach with lots of space to spread out. Whether you're here to soak up the sun, play in the water, or just relax on the sand, this is a great place to start your beach day. In addition to its beautiful setting, one of the other things we love about Aliso Beach is that parking isn't as challenging here as it is at some of the other beaches. You'll find off-street parking along PCH within walking distance of Aliso Beach.
Aliso Beach is located at 31131 S. Pacific Coast Hwy., Laguna Beach, CA 92652.
2. The Pirate Tower at Victoria Beach
After you've had some fun lounging on the beach or swimming in the ocean, how about taking some time to see one of SoCal's hidden local gems? Take a leisurely stroll along the beach and you'll discover a medieval-looking pirate tower that's tucked alongside the cliffs of Victoria Beach. You won't be able to tour this tower as it's private property, but it sure is a fun sight to see.
Victoria Beach is located at 2700 Victoria Dr., Laguna Beach, CA 92651.
3. Shaw's Cove
Make a stop at Shaw's Cove for some peace and quiet at a small local beach. It's the perfect spot to escape the crowds and go for a swim or a walk along the sand. There are residential homes above Shaw's, but that doesn't mean this is a private beach. You'll find the public entrance to this hidden beach on Fairview Street and Cliff Drive.
Shaw's Cove is located at 989 Cliff Dr., Laguna Beach, CA 92651.
4. Crystal Cove Shake Shack
By now you've probably worked up an appetite. While enjoying your beach day in Orange County, you'll want to head over to the Crystal Cove Shake Shack where you can enjoy a tasty burger and milkshake while enjoying a splendid view. It's a casual eatery, so no need to change out of your beach clothes. Just grab a seat outside, enjoy your burger, and slurp down a chocolate shake to celebrate your perfect beach day in SoCal.
Crystal Cove Shake Shack is located at 7703 East Coast Hwy., Newport Beach, CA 92657.
