While other states throughout the country may be celebrating their own festivities during the month of March, you'll find that here in the state of New York we'll be celebrating all-things maple related. With more than 180 farms and museums dedicated to maple syrup in the Empire State, you'll find that no matter what region you live in there will be someplace special to dive into our March Maple Weekends. Well, to get you ready for this delicious season, we've decided to highlight an amazing little maple getaway waiting just outside of Buffalo inside this maple shack and pancake house! Just over 40 miles from Buffalo, Moore's Maple Shack & Pancake House is one of our favorite places to visit during New York's highly-anticipated maple season.

For five generations, the Moore family has been making maple syrup here in the small town of Freedom.

More than 3,000 trees tapped each maple season and there are over 30 miles of tubing in their woods.

If you've never had the mouthwatering pleasure of discovering this maple gem, let us explain to you why so many Buffalonians are more than happy to make the drive out here.

In 1986, Moore’s Pancake House came to life and has been decorated with old knick-knacks, tools, sleds, and all sorts of vintage trinkets ever since.

As if the aroma of Moore's maple syrup wasn't already enough to make you want to hang out here all day long, the discovery of Moore's All-You-Can-Eat Pancakes sure does put the cherry on top!

Here in the Pancake House, you can order All-You-Can-Eat Buttermilk Pancakes and you can pair them up with things like ham, sausage, eggs, cinnamon french toast, and other tasty sides.

How yummy does that all sound?

Before you make your way back to Buffalo, you'll want to explore Moore's little gift shop that's set up within the Pancake House.

Lining the walls and shelves with nothing but delicious goodness, you can take home all sorts of amazing Moore's maple products with you.
