Stop by the Kerr Country Courthouse at night, and you might hear some unsettling sounds.

One thing is certain, don't go up to the old jailhouse at night.

Schreiner University has its own collection of creepy stories.
Students at Schreiner University often report seeing ghostly apparitions in Delaney Hall. Every so often, a cadet in a military uniform suddenly appears in doorways. He's not a menacing figure, thankfully. This spirit usually just salutes, smiles, and disappears.
You may spot a ghost or two at Old Camp Verde.
If you want to dive deeper into your ghostly adventures, head south of Kerrville to Camp Verde. The general store is home to feisty Civil War era spirit named Ruthie.
