You'll definitely want to look through the Old Blanco County Courthouse.
This historic building was only a courthouse between 1886 and 1900. When the county seat moved to Johnson City, this building was converted into an office space. During it's long life, it also served as a schoolhouse, a hospital, and a museum.
Today, the Old Blanco Courthouse stands as proud as ever. It's not uncommon to see weddings taking place within these historic walls.
Drive 6.6 miles south of the courthouse and you'll come across Twin Sisters Dance Hall
This rustic dance hall has stood since the 19th century and preserves its rich legacy to this day. On the first Saturday of every month, Twin Sisters hosts public dances. This tradition has been going strong for the last 140 years.
Take a relaxing walk through nature at the Blanco State Park.
The shaded hiking trails will shield you from the bright Texas sun.
