The community is named after War Eagle Mill, a grist mill that dates back to 1832.
Throughout the decades, the mill has remained an important part of the community. These days, it’s a popular attraction – complete with tours, a restaurant, and gift shop.
It also plays host to a variety of events throughout the year. The Fall Craft Show, which takes place every October, is one of the mill’s most popular events, attracting hoards of people from near and far.

The 786-acre park boasts campgrounds and hiking.
For an extra special treat, make the trek to Kingston’s Sweden Creek Falls.
Easily accessible, the waterfall is located along a 1.5-mile out-and-back trail.
