I love Arkansas during the holiday season! Our state is filled with many towns that transform into enchanting wonderlands of twinkling lights. But of all those towns, Eureka Springs may be the twinkliest! The historic village will be all aglow with lights and waiting for visitors to marvel at them in amazement. Let’s usher in winter in Arkansas and welcome the holiday season by spending Christmas in Eureka Springs.
The historic downtown of Eureka Springs will be decked out for the holiday season.
Walk around or, if you prefer, drive around the streets to see all the colorful lights and store window displays.
Shop windows in downtown Eureka Springs will be decked out with some magnificent holiday cheer. Walking around to see them will surely make you feel merry!
While looking at the lights and store windows, why not go shopping? Not only will you be able to find the perfect, unique Christmas gifts for those on your holiday list, but you will be supporting local small businesses as well.
Even Grotto Spring gets decorated with lights, adding to the holiday cheer around town!
Christ of the Ozarks is hosting a drive-through light display from dusk until 8 pm every Friday through Sunday night, from Thanksgiving until January 1.
You will want to take a drive up to Christ of the Ozarks and pass by the forest of over 300 Christmas trees! Admission for the drive-through is by donation only.
One stop you must make to see twinkling holiday lights is the 1886 Crescent Hotel & Spa. The Christmas season here cannot be beat and has become one of the top Christmas traditions in The Ozarks region.
Both the exterior and interior of the hotel are aglow with lights and ornate holiday decor.
Over 30 trees will be part of the Christmas Forest on the East Lawn of the Crescent Hotel. Visitors can pay to vote for their favorite tree. All proceeds are donated to charity.
The hotel has planned many fun activities and events for the month of December, although things will be slightly different this year than in past years due to the pandemic.
