Y’all are going to love this place. It’s old, it’s delicious, it’s in a tiny town, it’s full of history and atmosphere, and the town where it’s located is near some of the most impressive natural beauty in the Natural State. The place I’m talking about is the Ozark Cafe in Jasper, and it’s an Arkansas institution.
The Ozark Cafe is located at 107 East Court Street in Jasper.
The Ozark Cafe opened all the way back in 1909. It’s one of the oldest continuously operating restaurants in Arkansas.
Though Jasper’s proximity to the Buffalo National River makes it a good place to find a lot of tourists, in the Ozark Café you’re going to find a lot of locals, too. If you ask me, that’s a pretty good indication of how good the food is.
What you’re probably the most interested in is the food, right? You’re not going to be disappointed.
Their home-style fare is totally delectable. It's made fresh and intended to make you feel right at home.
In fact, you’ll probably leave feeling like your own mammaw made it for you.
Though their menu does branch out into deli favorites and Tex Mex classics as well...
...and they’ve got breakfast you’d arm wrestle your granny for.
Add friendly service to all that Arkansas-made awesome, and you’ve got a recipe for a restaurant you need to get to soon.
After all, restaurants don’t stick around for more than a hundred years without some great food, fantastic service, and a wonderful hometown atmosphere.
