Java lovers jump for joy! Did you know that Arkansas has its own designated coffee trail? Our state tourism site has stirred up a roasterific road trip around Central Arkansas. Let's coffeehouse hop around Little Rock to sip and see these delicious local businesses.
Today's trip can fill your weekend around Little Rock or be done in a day.
Grab a latte and look around the nearby sights or speed your way through the route in a day (you'll certainly have the energy for it). This breezy tour of Central Arkansas' roasteries and coffeehouses is perfect for any caffeine fiends cruising through the city. North Little Rock, Little Rock, Conway, and Bryant will be our main points of interest along the route.
1. Dark Side Coffee Co. - North Little Rock
Our journey begins with a quick stop to Dark Side Coffee Co. in North Little Rock. The drive-through features flame-roasted coffees from all around the world with delicious small batches to choose from and customize. You'll only be a mile away from the famous Old Mill if you'd like to have a fairy tale setting for your sipping. Follow the Dark Side Coffee Co.'s Facebook Page for more information.
2. Mugs Cafe - Little Rock
Our next stop has more of a sit and sip atmosphere which is perfect since they're so inviting! Mugs Cafe has two locations, in Argenta and Heights, but today's route takes us to the former. This place features a full menu including some savory hamburgers and prime rib French dips. You may want to fill up before strolling through the nearby North Shore Riverwalk Park! Head to their website or follow their Facebook Page for more information.
3. Nexus Coffee and Creative - Little Rock
Nexus is next in our coffee tour. In addition to the delicious brews, Nexus also has quite a bit of local art and merch to peruse. Grab a snack and hit the trails while you're in the area - Nexus neighbors the Arkansas River Trail as well as the William E. Clark Presidential Park Wetlands. You can either go to their website or follow their Facebook Page.
4. River City Coffee - Little Rock
This quirky little coffee shop has the best atmosphere! River City Coffee features delicious roasts and coffee drinks as well as creations from local artists. They'll get you super charged for a mini adventure in Allopp Park, which is just a mile down the road. Follow their

5. Guillermo's Coffee - Little Rock
With the cushy leather couches and fireplace, you'll immediately feel like a welcomed house guest at Guillermo's! This coffeehouse has been serving freshly roasted cups for well over a decade and have the most extensive coffee and tea selection in the state! They also serve beer and wine if you're needing something a little more stout to sip. See more by following their Facebook Page or by visiting their website.
6. Round Mountain Coffee - Conway
We'll take our last coffee to-go as we continue this tour further north to Conway. Our next stop is to Round Mountain Coffee! Although they do certainly have delicious hot coffees, we love them for their non-coffee drink specials! They have seasonal delectables like Lavendar Lemonade and Pina Con Matcha. See the full menu on their Facebook Page or website.
7. Blue Sail Coffee - Conway
With humble beginnings, Blue Sail Coffee now has locations in Conway as well as Little Rock. We'll tour the former since we're already in town though. Settle into Blue Sail's perfectly charming downtown building for breakfast or brunch! Sip and support them through their website or Facebook Page.
8. Koffee with a Kause - Bryant
We began our tour with a drive-thru so we'll end with one, too! Before looping back into Little Rock, make the final coffee stop in Bryant. The Koffee with a Kause has a scrumptious menu of sweet drinks with drool-worthy names like Sticky Bun and Warm Sugar Cookie. Pair your dessert drink with a delicious scone or two! You can find out more information by following their website.
