11. Devil’s Den State Park
Hidden away in the Ozarks, you’ll find a state park that comes alive in the fall. Devil’s Den State Park in October is a good place to find a dense forest in the full depth of fall color. The trails are plentiful there, and the trees are absolutely magical.

10. Paris
Paris is located in the shadow of Mount Magazine, and it’s such a charming little town that you’ll never want to leave. Right up the road from the charming little town you’ll find the stunning overlooks of Mount Magazine State Park, and there’s simply no fall vista like the one from Arkansas’s highest mountain.
9. McGarrah Farms
McGarrah Farms has free hayrides, a mule train, and a huge pumpkin patch where you can pick your own pumpkin from the vine. This family-owned farm is a whole afternoon of fall fun just waiting to happen.

8. Hawksbill Crag
Arkansas’s most famous rock offers a view of Ozarks fall color like no other. There really isn’t any other place like Hawksbill Crag, and the hike that takes you there will show you lovely fall color from the inside of the forest.

7. Ozark Corn Maze
You can visit the petting zoo at the Ozark Corn Maze, or you can do one or all of their three corn mazes. The Ozark Corn Maze has a corn cannon where you can check out your shooting skills and a pumpkin sling shot where you get to pick your own pumpkin and shoot it at targets.

6. Boston Mountain Scenic Route on Highway 71
One of the finest scenic routes in Arkansas takes your through the Boston Mountains—the highest part of the Ozarks. Along the way you’ll find small towns and dense forests. Since I-49 opened, Highway 71 doesn’t have quite so much traffic anymore, which means you can slow down and take in all the gorgeous views.
5. Scenic Seven & the Arkansas Grand Canyon
Scenic Seven runs all the way through the Natural State, but for the best fall color, you might want to drive the part up near the town of Jasper. The Arkansas Grand Canyon offers one of the best places in Arkansas to see the sunrise, but you can’t beat that fall color.
4. Corn Maze at Lollie
The Schaeffer family has been farming the land near Conway since 1971. They have one of the most intricate and impressive corn mazes in the Natural State. You can bring your own camera for their photo area or enjoy a hay ride or simply sit and enjoy the picturesque family farm.

3. Mena
Mena is located in the Ouachita Mountains, and it’s totally surrounded by natural beauty. Queen Wilhelmina State Park is near Mena, as is Cossatot River State Park. Whether you decide to stroll around Mena’s downtown area or take a side trip out to one of the state parks, you’re going to love the fall color in Mena.
2. Peebles Farm
Peebles Farm has a truly epic 16 acre fall maze, 65 acres of pumpkins you can pick yourself, and so many activities and attractions that you’ll feel like you’re in fall heaven. From the tractor-pulled train ride to the duck races and play areas, you’re going to feel like a kid again at Peebles Farm.

1. Hot Springs Mountain Tower
For sweeping views of fall color in the Ouachitas, you can’t do much better than the tower standing on Hot Springs Mountain. With two observation decks and a full 360 degree view of the mountains and valleys all around, this mountain tower is especially spectacular in the fall.
