7. Fat Mermaid, Valdez, Alaska
The Fat Mermaid is a staple in Valdez. Located right across the harbor, you can find their menu filled with locally grown ingredients. Order such delicious menu items like Teriyaki chicken with Japanese slaw and steamed basmati rice, or go for the comfort food and dine on one of their famous pizzas. They're open Monday through Saturday, from 11:00 a.m. through 9:00 p.m., and Sundays from 12:00 p.m. through 8:00 p.m.
