Gold Dredge No. 8 is an attraction in Fox celebrating the rich gold mining history of the area and sharing the secrets of how the gold dredge worked with visitors.
The first part of the two-hour tour is a a ride on a replica of the Tanana Valley Railroad near some of the original rail routes.
Earl Hughes, a local troubadour, provides live music as you watch the hills roll by in this beautiful part of Alaska, rich with gold fields.
