1. Alaska SeaLife Center, Seward
Hit the road and head to the Alaska SeaLife Center, the amazing aquarium in Seward where all your underwater dreams come true.
2. Triple Lakes Trail, Denali National Park
Enjoy the beauty of Denali National Park and the lovely wildflowers that carpet the area. Head out to the Triple Lakes Trail to see wildflower meadows and endless views of our treasured Denali National Park.
3. Whittier, Kenai Peninsula
Whittier is weird and wonderful. After you brave a tunnel through a mountain, you are spit out on the shores of Prince William Sound with excellent fishing, glacier views and cool people to welcome you to this eccentric Alaskan town.
4. Petroglyph Beach, Wrangell
This beach is a walk through time as you explore petroglyphs left from long ago. Information about the science and history of the area are available and the beach is a beautiful place to spend the day.
5. Wonder Lake, Denali National Park
Wonder Lake is at Mile Marker 85 inside Denali National Park and is a reflecting pool. The glassy waters, huge skies and mountain vistas make for incredible sunsets and sunrises.
6. Eagle & Symphony Lakes, Eagle River
These lakes are on a six mile trail easily accessed as a day trip from Anchorage. The turquoise lakes are beautiful for swimming on hot days and lounging near when the temperatures are cool.
7. Bering Land Bridge, Seward Peninsula
If you are in Western Alaska, head out to the Bering Land Bridge National Park to see the endless rolling tundra and the vibrant colors in the fall.
8. Tangle Lakes, Denali Highway
Tangle Lakes is a series of gorgeous, clear lakes up the Denali Highway. Head to the campground for a weekend of fishing and boating. This may be the most beautiful campground in Alaska.

The Anan Wilderness Viewing area is a great place to see salmon and the bears that eat them in relative comfort and safety.
