From mid-November through early January, the Houston Zoo transforms into a magical winter wonderland. Each year, the celebration only gets better - and this season promises to be the best yet.
Right near the entrance is a grove of trees wrapped from trunk to leaves in glittering bulbs. Multicolored reflections on the water below create an absolutely mesmerizing scene.
Fifteen miles of lights illuminate the entire walkway. Tunnels, an enchanted forest, and a wildlife carousel are just several of the many interactive features.
All the critters will be fast asleep, but you can still catch glimpses of them around every corner. Light displays depicting all your favorite zoo animals add a whimsical element guaranteed to enchant kids and adults alike.
