True Texas BBQ isn't just any restaurant, though. H-E-B created the brand, so you'll only find it in the Lone Star State's most beloved supermarket.
At this particular location, patrons can not only enjoy two levels of indoor seating, but a drive-thru, as well. Whether you have some time to kill or are in a rush, True Texas BBQ is for everyone.
Open daily from 11 a.m. until 9 p.m., the restaurant offers a variety of smoked meats, including brisket, sausage, and pulled pork. You can order them family-style, or as a plate with your choice of one to three meats.
Other entrees include sandwiches, stuffed baked potatoes, loaded mac and cheese or cornbread, and specials like brisket enchiladas.
There are also a bevy of scrumptious sides to choose from, including classics like coleslaw and potato salad, plus more unique offerings such as green chile cheddar cornbread. You'll also see a wide selection of tap and bottled beers, as well as homestyle desserts like banana pudding and cobbler!
Another neat thing about this New Braunfels H-E-B is the debut of the store's new home line, which includes ranch-style furniture, globally-inspired décor, and much more.
