4. Camp Verde General Store (Camp Verde)
Over 150 years have come and gone, and Camp Verde General Store has remained virtually unchanged. The oldest general store in Texas, this iconic stop off Interstate 20 has been around since 1847. While it doesn't serve hot meals like the others, it does make its very own cheddar cheese!
