Legend has it that in the mid-1800s, pioneers encountered a hill covered in more than 175 types of wildflowers, plants, and grasses. They decided to name it "The Flower Mound," and the rest is history.

It saw the highest job growth over the last five years of anywhere on the list, and it comes in second place for projected job growth over the next five years.
