You won't find many island-inspired spots in the heart of Middle Tennessee, folks. Perhaps it's because fried chicken and biscuits reign supreme. No matter the *actual* reason, we still believe that every city needs its own tiki bar, and Chopper in Nashville, Tennessee is the highly anticipated answer to Music City's tropical needs. Chopper is a locally owned and operated Tiki bar in East Nashville, Tennessee, that serves up island favorites with a robot-inspired Caribbean theme. The brainchild of Andy Mumma, famed for the ever-popular inception of Barista Parlor, you can expect high-end design and dining.
Everything both in and around the bar has been thoughtfully curated and placed. From plantlife to an artfully designed menu, Chopper seeks to regale the senses with its colorful presentation.
Though you'll find a lot of bright, vibrant colors on display throughout the bar, there's nothing chaotic to the experience. Rather, it seems more soothing to be surrounded by lush greenery and bright bar stools. As if you've stepped away from muted Millennial pink palates and beige Boomer culture and straight to an unidentifiable island world.
Chopper gains its notoriety as a gathering place, but it's the cocktails that puts this hot spot over the edge. There's an expansive number of cocktails, frozen drinks, sparkling coolers, beer, and even wine available for purchase.
