There's something about a great plate of french fries that just gets us, way down in the feels. It reminds us of childhood, football games with gobs of ketchup and best friends, bundled up on the stands. It sends us back to those awkward first dates. There's something nostalgic about french fries, those lovely things. Take a look at our favorites!
10. Two Bits - 1520 Demonbreun Street
Fun and a bit newer, Two Bits is a favorite amongst tourists and locals alike with its great location and awesome clientele. The service is stellar, and it's a great, fairly unknown french fry gem.
9. The Pharmacy Burger & Beer Garden - 731 Mcferrin Ave
The Pharmacy in East Nashville is probably one of the most popular spots in the city. With their neat outdoor patio and killer sweet potato fries, you get the best of both worlds: great atmosphere and killer menu options.
8. Paradise Park Burgers - 411 Broadway
Located in downtown Nashville, this is the go-to spot for chili-cheese fries. Don't get us wrong, you really can choose any of their french fry options and leave happy - but man. When they're loaded up? You're a happy camper.
7. Gabby's Burger & Fries - 493 Humphreys Street
A Nashville classic, Gabby's is always full and only open for lunch. Which, of course, just means you need to get in and out around noon as often as you can. Their fries are toasted to perfection and offset the meaty heft of their cheeseburgers nicely.
6. Flip Burger Boutique - 4111 Charlotte Ave
This fun Nashville eatery is newer with a modern vibe. They take a couple of spins with their burger and fry options, but we still add 'em on the list - mainly because they proffer an atmosphere as delicious as their fried potatoes.
5. Burger Up - Various Locations
Truffle fries and sweet potato fries from heaven are here. For real, they are. Paired with their house sauce or a good burger, and you'll eat all the calories you need for the next ten days. And it's okay.
4. Dino's - 411 Gallatin Ave
The oldest bar in Nashville BETTER have some fries. You can get them loaded up or stripped down, but either way their greasy beauty isn't downplayed. We feel the quirky nature of the bar only serves to better the taste. It's a fun spot!
3. M.L. Rose Craft Beer & Burgers - Various Locations
The waffle fries at ML Rose are KNOWN around town. With their wide breadth and ability to carry the weight of cheese, meats and sauces on the menu - there's really nothing else you could ask for. We recommend the sweet potato fries!
2. Belcourt Taps - 2117 Belcourt Ave
Belcourt Taps KILLS it with french fry options. Garlic fries, cheese fries, fries with ranch - you name it, they'll do it. Plus it's located right next to Hillsboro Village - so you can hit up a slew of awesome Nashville hotspots afterwards to burn off a calorie or two.
1. Bobbie's Dairy Dip - Downtown & West Nashville
This old school Tennessee walk-up is great for a classic plate of fries and a burger. There's nothing frilly about them - although you can ask for a change - and we find that they're best with a simple addition of ketchup.
