In 2009, the owners were forced to make a a tough decision for the future of this bakery that has roots that date back to the 1940s. Taking a leap of faith, they combined two previously separate companies and created (from scratch) a new donut recipe that would propel them forward to becoming the bakery behemoth they are today.
It turns out that combining their bakery *and* pie-making businesses was the best thing that could have happened, because to this day they pump out around 240,000 donuts per week!
