Cupcakes took the world by storm a few years ago, igniting wedding culture and children's birthday parties with a whole new sugary flare. Although the craze may have died down a bit, we're still in love with the delicious goods found at Ivey Cake, the Brentwood-based Tennessee cupcakery that takes events in the mid-state up a solid notch.
Ivey Cake is a locally owned and operated space in Brentwood, Tennessee. The girly, frothy spot serves up what is self-touted as "designer sweets," and we have to say - we agree.
Cupcakes are decorated and made fresh daily, and special orders are available if you call ahead for your event. Their ever-circulating cupcake flavors are made with the best ingredients and reflect their perfectly flavorful beginnings.
Ivey Cake arguably made its biggest splash in the local event arena for baking the cupcakes for Carrie Underwood and Mike Fisher's wedding. The little cupcakery that could has since gone on to be featured by American Idol, US Weekly, People magazine, the Food Network and Brides Magazine, amongst many more.
Wouldn't you jump at the chance to enjoy one of these sweet treats?
Whose guests wouldn't want to enjoy a treat that appeared on Cupcake Wars?
Not much of a cupcake fan? Yes, we do think that's a little strange, but we understand - indulge in a freshly decorated cookie and you may feel a bit better. Don't they look scrumptious?
Ivey Cake has recently rebranded and relocated from its Franklin location to a spot right next to The Perch in Brentwood. It's a perfectly sweet addition to any cup of coffee, we think. You can visit for yourself at 117 Franklin Road in Brentwood, Tennessee.
If you're in love with our great state, then you'll possibly be REALLY excited to hear about this rustic Tennessee cafe.
