The 1806 General Store can be found in the historic Livingston Town Square, aptly located in the town of Livingston, Tennessee. You'll most likely notice its historic facade at first since the building was built in 1937.
The location originally operated as the Speck Brothers Hardware Store and has since shifted to operating as part museum, part antique shop, and part restaurant. It's a conglomeration that truly regales the senses in every way!
Inside you'll find a small general store as well as an antique market featuring over 40 vendor booths. Talk about a good time! You can shop until you drop AND enjoy a meal that you'll never forget.
The general store is great for grab-and-go items, but the 1806 General Store restaurant serves daily specials and specialty sandwiches. You'll even have the chance to enjoy your meal on a loaf of Laurel Mountain bread with veggies on the side.
Think cozy, homey, indulgent, and delicious and you'll know exactly what's on the menu. Fresh soups and salads are made every day and there is even a specialty salad bar so you can craft your own meal.
Breakfast sandwiches are available as well as heaping platters piled high with everything from French toast to biscuits and gravy. Lunchtime is when salads chock full of good ingredients shine, and there is even a rolled ice cream menu that's perfect for your sweet tooth.
Have you been to the 1806 General Store? You can currently visit from 6:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. every day of the week but Sunday which of the only day the 1806 General Store is closed.
