A Victorian Swan on Water is a gorgeous, charming bed and breakfast located in Stevens Point. The stunning house was built in 1889 and moved from its location downtown to its current spot closer to the water in 1938. Literally located on Water Street, just steps from the Wisconsin River, this home is grand and beautiful all on its own. But when Spring comes, the grounds comes alive with a riot of flowers, making this a truly magical spot you can't wait to visit.
This stunning Victorian house became a B & B in the 1980s when the owners discovered it tucked in near the river. It had been converted into a duplex, but now stands as a grand inn.
The original builder of the house, Samuel Rothman, was actually mayor of Stevens Point.
There is plenty to see and do in Stevens Point, but honestly, The Victorian Swan on Water invites you to never leave their grounds. It's the perfect place for a relaxing weekend away from all the stress of every day life.
The gardens here are a riot of colors when spring comes and sitting outside and basking in it is kind of the perfect way to spend a day.
It's not hard to imagine someone working on a book or a project spending some time here in the peace and quiet and being inspired by the beauty surrounding this place.

The owners bring the outdoors in and the flowers make a beautiful accompaniment for the stunning decor inside, as well.
When you've had your fill of lazing about the grounds here and feel the need to explore, the Green Circle Trail passes right in front of the B&B. It's a 30.5-mile scenic trail that threads through the Stevens Point area and allows you to take in even more spring greenery.
There's just so much to love about this stunning location no matter the season, but spring is when it shows the best, emerging from the winter, putting on a new frock and shining in the sun for the first time in months. You will totally fall in love with this charming, fragrant and gorgeous spot.
