Make your next getaway an unforgettable one with a stay in a caboose. That’s right — you can spend the night in a railroad caboose from the 1950s. Though small, this cozy abode offers all the comforts of home, along with a hot tub! Take a look:
Please note, this B&B has permanently closed.
Utterly unique and perfectly secluded, this caboose B&B is hiding on five acres in the tiny village of Ferryville.
It’s a real railroad caboose from 1954, so space is limited. However, it’s been fully restored ensuring each stay is an enjoyable one.
The caboose features all the basics needed for a comfortable stay, including a comfy living room, kitchen, and indoor bathroom.
In addition to a futon, there are bunk beds. With three beds total, the caboose can sleep up to four (two or three adults and a child).
But the amenities aren’t limited to the caboose’s interior.
Outside, there’s a spacious deck and fire pit.

And don’t forget about the hot tub, which is situated under a gazebo right outside the caboose.
Pretty remote, there’s no WiFi. However, you’ll find plenty to keep you entertained since the Mississippi River and hiking trails aren’t too far from the caboose. There are also opportunities for fishing, so don’t forget your gear.
