There's never a bad time to go to Leavenworth, nor is there a wrong occasion. If you're celebrating a birthday, bachelor or bachelorette party, family reunion, or traveling with a group, Washington's Bavarian village is particularly pleasant. And don't bother booking a string of hotel rooms in town -- there's a sprawling 6,000 square foot "cabin" just a couple of miles away that will accommodate everyone in your life. And it's magnificent.
This enormous custom home sits just two miles from downtown Leavenworth, right on the edge of the Wenatchee River.
And it has been set up to accommodate large groups who enjoy their relaxation.
Not only is this a riverfront home, but it's located in a secluded area, so you'll have plenty of privacy.
Sitting by the river enjoying an evening beverage after a day spent exploring Leavenworth is one of life's simplest pleasures.
Inside, the spacious living area has plenty of seating for everyone.
The handcrafted aspen log furniture is a unique detail you'll love.
The downstairs living area is quite open, allowing you to feel close to your loved ones...
... but don't worry, there are plenty of cozy corners as well.
There's also an expansive daylight basement with a game area and even more seating.
The massive kitchen has everything you need to cook gourmet meals for your entire group.
We hate to say it, but you may have a tough time returning to your kitchen at home.
The house has 5 bedrooms and 5.5 bathrooms, but thanks to the extra beds, it can accommodate around 16 guests.
In addition to the bedrooms, there are also two sleeper sofas with memory foam mattresses.
When we say extra beds, we do mean extra beds...
... one bedroom has both a queen-sized bed and an alcove full of bunk beds.
While this was clearly made for children, we're pretty sure a small group of adults would be excited for a slumber party here as well.
Did we mention there's an amazing dry sauna with LED controlled lighting?
And if a sauna isn't your style, just step outside and sink into the giant hot tub.
Needless to say, this lavish home isn't a cheap rental... but it's worth it.
The rate depends on when you book, but it averages around $1,100 per night, plus Airbnb's fees. But split between a good-sized group, it's surprisingly affordable given all its amenities.
