There are quite a few ways to enjoy the snowy scenery in Vermont. Whether you enjoy skiing, skating, hiking, or even taking a horse-drawn sleigh ride, there are seemingly endless options. One thrill-packed activity that you might not have experienced yet is the winter coaster at Killington. Take in the snowy mountain wonderland with a fun-filled ride on the Beast Mountain Coaster.
The Beast Mountain Coaster is a unique way to descend the mountain at Killington Ski Resort. Jump on the 4,800-foot-long alpine coaster that twists and turns through the snowy woods. With 360-degree corkscrews, this heart-pounding adventure provides excitement for the whole family.
Put on your jacket, hat, gloves, and boots, this outdoor adventure is a breezy ride. If you really want to check out the scenery add a pair of goggles to your winter attire for this cold weather descent.
Riders for the alpine coaster must be over 36 inches tall. Participants 36" - 52" tall must ride with someone 53" or taller but it's fun to share this exciting ride with a companion. For the winter of 2018-2019, tickets for a ride on the Beast cost $10 for kids 6 and under and $17 for riders ages 7 and up. You can also purchase a 4 Beast Coaster Ride Card for $34 for the younger crowd and $51 for the bigger kids and adults.
