The museum opened in 1992 and welcomes around 175,000 visitors every year.
At the center of the museum is a huge tree. It stands 30 feet tall and is 65 feet around. Climb the tree and admire its 70,000 green leaves, spiral staircase, and deck that's perfect for observing everything that's going on below.
This place is chock-full of opportunities for imaginative play.
Stroll through the town, and stop in at the Waltons Five and Dime, where you can be a shopkeeper or a customer.
Visit The Oval Office and imagine what it would be like to be the President of the United States.

It's open Monday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.; Tuesday through Thursday 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.; Friday 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.; Saturday 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Admission is just $7 for children ages 1 to 12; $5 for visitors ages 13 and up.
