There's nothing better than relaxing in Utah's great outdoors...especially if you can do it while soaking in a hot tub! There's a place in Monroe that offers a different kind of "hot tub," and it allows you to soak your cares away while enjoying a fabulous view. Here's everything you need to know about planning a fabulous trip to Mystic Hot Springs in Utah.
Mystic Hot Springs in Utah is a quirky, but cool place where you can bask in the beauty of nature...while soaking in a tub.
Head to Monroe to find Mystic Hot Springs; the address is 475 E. 100 N., Monroe, UT 84754.
The hot spring here flows at 200 gallons per minute. It's full of minerals, which have built up over time and created a huge mound.
Water flows through a channel from the hot spring to the bathtubs and pools below. As it travels down the channel, the water cools off a little.
There are two pools here - a shallow pool that's three feet deep (shown here), and a deeper, 4.5-foot pool.
Eight bathtubs collect water from the hot spring, too. The temperature in the tubs varies from 98 to 110 degrees Fahrenheit.
The tubs are thoroughly cleaned every day, though you'll find that they're stained from all the mineral deposits. While you soak your troubles away, you'll enjoy some incredible views of the countryside surrounding the hot springs.
Mystic Hot Springs in Utah has several options if you want to stay overnight. Get cozy in one of the converted school buses...
...or drift off to sleep in an authentic pioneer cabin. The cabins and buses are outfitted with comfy quilts and some modern amenities (though they also feature plenty of rustic charm).
You can also camp overnight in your tent or RV. You'll definitely want to stay overnight...
...so you can soak under the stars!
Mystic Hot Springs is a family-friendly place. Nudity, alcohol, and drugs are not allowed.
