The relaxing sound of flowing water is like a tonic to the soul. Getting away from life’s responsibilities and spending the night at a unique stay in Tennessee could be the perfect way to detox. Life is busy; I get it. But we here in the Volunteer State value the slower pace and spending quality time while being present. So if that is you and are in need of a getaway, this tiny house by the river is just what you need to destress and find rest.
Maryville is a quiet yet charming town between Knoxville and the Great Smoky Mountains. Found within this perfect location is the Little River Tiny House. Located right along the river, the soothing sounds will whisk your cares away.
This is truly a project of love for the owners who built it with their own two hands. Every inch of the property was thoughtfully designed from the fantastic porch views to the placement of the beautiful wooden staircase. The clever use of space is something I always find fascinating in a tiny home and this property is sure to wow you too.
The owners also love what they do and it is clear that they were made for hosting. They make a point to be very hands-on with their guests to ensure their stay is memorable. So if you are there to celebrate an anniversary or birthday, they will make all the special arrangements to make sure it is a special date. This approach to hosting makes every stay here unforgettable.
The large windows will allow guests to feel like they are surrounded by the trees with views of the mountains just outside of their bedroom. To sweeten the deal even more, there is a hot tub where you can soak away any leftover worry you might have.
I am a big advocate for getting outside and enjoying the beautiful surroundings we have, especially in East Tennessee, so if you are in need of a relaxing getaway then look no further than the Little River Tiny House.
While in Maryville, you will be just minutes away from Townsend, known as “the peaceful side of the Smokies." Take a scenic drive into the mountains of the national park and explore Cades Cove. This is one of my favorite places to visit in the park.
Another great nearby outing is Tuckaleechee Caverns. This is home to the world's most sensitive seismic station and the story of the cave during the tour is incredible. No matter what special event brings you to a getaway at the Little River Tiny House, keep in mind there is an amazing cave just down the road waiting to be explored.
After all that exploring and fun you have a lovely little rental to return to. With a beautiful location, the promise of a relaxing retreat, and excellent hosts who create unique experiences for their guests, this tiny home is a great option for a unique stay in Tennessee. For more information on this Airbnb rental please visit the Little River Tiny House page where you can book your stay.
While you are staying so close to downtown Maryville, there is an amazing movie-themed ice cream parlor that is too good to pass up. The Capitol Theatre Coffee & Ice Cream Parlor is a one-of-a-kind treat you have to try when you visit this small charming town.
