No, this is not a space ship. This is the Isha Institute's meditation hall, the hub of all of their rejuvenating activities.
Looks pretty big right? Well, it is. In fact, it is actually the largest meditation hall in the western hemisphere! And it's right here in Tennessee.
The Isha Institute's location in Tennessee is nestled atop the Cumberland plateau on over 1300 acres. It was built with the mission of elevating the consciousness of anyone who wanted to seek inner peace.
The Institute offers daily tours from 10:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. The tours include a visit to one of the most beautiful bluffs on the plateau, the perfect spot for a bit of meditation and reflection.
They even offer daily vegetarian brunches and dinners, served by the Institute's volunteers. Meals are $10 per person and are served at 10 a.m. and 7 p.m.
The Institute offers everything from group yoga classes to weekend-long retreat experiences, including lodging and meals.
The Abode of Yoga is open to visitors from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. year round, if you feel so inclined to check it out. They even offer free yoga days once per month if you want to check it out for free!
From beginner to advanced, the Institute offers yoga programs for all skill sets. They also offer plenty of other wellness and health programs for anyone looking to attain spiritual, mental, and physical wellbeing.
