Nashville has plenty of unique and beautiful spots, but there's one spot on the shores of Percy Priest Lake just east of downtown where you can camp right on the lakefront. While this might not be entirely unique (there are plenty of campsites on plenty of lakefronts in Middle Tennessee), this campground is the only one that comes with a waterpark. That's right, whether you've got an RV or want to snag one of their lake view cabins, this is the best spot for camping if you love the water.
Nashville Shores is a waterpark and camping resort just outside of downtown Nashville on the beautiful shores of Percy Priest Lake.
The campground is perfect for those who love the water — some RV sites even back right up to the lake!
There are plenty of cabins, too, for people who don't have their own camping vehicle. They're the perfect way to get away on a short notice. Cabin rates are generally $125-$215 per night and the RV sites range from $50 to $65.
Just look at the view! The cabins aren't available from the beginning of December to the beginning of March, as the campground shuts down for the winter.
What makes this campground even more unique, though, is the waterpark. Nashville Shores is open to the public, but folks who are staying at the campground get discounted tickets!
The tickets to the waterpark typically run between $35 and $40 for the day, but if you plan on going for more than one day, the best way to go is the season pass, which only costs $60.
Here you can see how close the campground is to everything at the waterpark! Visit the Nashville Shores Website for more information about booking your sites. The address for the campground is 4001 Bell Rd. See you there!
