The Hermitage Hotel is a luxury, five-star hotel located in the heart of Nashville’s vibrant downtown. It has hosted numerous influential and historic guests, from famous actors and musicians to politicians and presidents. However, the hotel has also attracted some unofficial guests as well. Ghostly apparitions and paranormal sightings have been reported over the years, and these otherworldly guests seem to have no plans to check out anytime soon.
Room 910 was supposedly the most haunted room in this hotel.
According to the stories, a baby tragically died inside this room years ago, and his spirit has remained there ever since. Crying can be heard coming from the empty room, and a motherly apparition has also been spotted trying to comfort the crying baby.
In recent renovations, the wall between 910 and the adjacent room was torn down to make the suite larger, so room 910 no longer exists.
However, many people believe the spirits still reside in the newly expanded suite 912.
The ghost of a young woman dressed all in white has been seen roaming the hallways of the hotel.
On the first floor, a Victorian woman has also been known to wander from room to room.
Some people have reported seeing the apparition of a frail young girl appear on the hotel balcony at night.
She may also be responsible for the strange noises and ghostly wails that some guests have heard coming from inside the hotel walls.
Guests and staff have also seen a mysterious mirror in the lobby crack and then mend itself before their very eyes.
The hotel is where many of Nashville’s historic ghost tours begin.
