Do you need a vacation? Join the club... Unfortunately, exotic destinations are out of the question (and budget) for many of us, which is why we are extra grateful to live in a place like South Dakota, where there is always somewhere new to explore. In the case of today, it is this unique, ready-to-rent turtle house that looks exactly how it sounds:
Welcome to the aptly named Turtle House!
Located in Spearfish, the Turtle House is billed as being a "super cozy, lower level guest suite" that comes complete with one bedroom and one bath.
While the house may be home to just one bedroom (the rustic master suite complete with a cozy queen bed), it can comfortably sleep up to four, thanks to not only the queen but a bunk bed in the corner of the living space.
In addition to the sleeping arrangements and indoor, private bathroom, the Turtle House also boasts a roomy and welcoming living area, plus a fireplace for those chilly nights and a full-size kitchen.
Though the upstairs portion of the house is a beautiful art studio, guests of the Turtle House are also welcome to use the lovely patio area and take full advantage of the spacious yard.
As if you needed another reason to visit, the Turtle House is located right next door to the famous Termesphere Gallery and within walking distance of downtown Spearfish (pictured).
Rates for the Turtle House start at $75 a night.
