Camping is cool, but sometimes you want something a bit more civilized. After a long day of hiking, kayaking, and playing, it feels wonderful to snuggle into a real bed, doesn't it? If you're ready to relax in remote place and leave behind your electronics for a true respite, you'll want to book The Magical Treehouse in Mt. Hood.
Climb up into The Magical Treehouse to snuggle up between three massive fir trees. This cozy abode is the perfect place to bask in the beauty of nature and get away from it all.
Located on 20 acres at the base of Mt. Hood, The treehouse is nestled near a 1-acre, spring-fed pond that's a beautiful spot for loafing about and taking in the scenery.
Paddle around the pond on a kayak, or cruise down the zipline right into the pond! Nearby hiking trails provide more recreation, and you can also swim, play some hoops, and bird-watch.
The treehouse is a winter wonderland when it snows! You'll be just 30 minutes from Mt. Hood Ski Bowl, so bring your skis or snowboards.
You'll feel snug and comfy in the little 200-square-foot treehouse, which sleeps up to four guests. You'll find a queen-sized bed on the main level, and you can climb the ladder up to the loft...
...to find two twin-sized beds as well. A gas heater keeps you toasty warm, even when it's chilly outside.
This magical tree dwelling is like glamping - it's fancier than camping in a tent, but you'll still feel like you're roughing it a bit. There's a basic kitchenette that includes a mini-fridge, microwave, and coffee maker, and you'll also have a composting toilet and cold water sink.
You'll want to leave all your electronics at home. There's no Internet service here, and cell phone service is spotty at best. Take the opportunity to unplug for awhile!
To reach The Magical Treehouse, guests must climb a spiral staircase, so the owners only allow children ages seven and older.
Does this treehouse look like the kind of place you'd like to stay? If so, tag the loved ones you want to bring along!
