Nancy and Art Izer started this ranch with just six alpacas back in 2006. Today, the herd includes more than 1,000 furry friends. Alpaca Country Estates is the second-largest alpaca ranch in the United States.
You'll definitely want to get up close and personal with these beautiful animals. Your hosts will answer all your questions about alpacas, and you'll have plenty of opportunities to meet them.
Baby alpacas are called crias, and they're just too sweet for words. During your stay, you might get to bottle feed a baby alpaca, or take one for a walk around the ranch.
You'll have a hard time tearing yourself away from this gorgeous ranch, so plan an overnight stay. You'll have two options to choose from for lodging here. The Alpaca Country Estate Blue Ranch accommodates five guests.
It includes a spacious living area, fully-stocked kitchen, vaulted ceilings, and views of the 134-acre farm.

All the beautiful alpacas here create thousands of pounds of fiber every year, so Nancy created "Magical Strands" in 2014. The company creates incredibly soft yarn with the alpaca fleece...
...then turns it into all kinds of amazing products, including socks, ponchos, scarves, and more. You can get a look at some of the offerings in the gift shop on the ranch.
Make sure to get an alpaca nose kiss before you leave!
