In case you didn't already know, Beavers Bend State Park is one of the most beautiful places in the state. It's located in southern Oklahoma in the town of Broken Bow in the middle of a tall pine forest.
You don't want to be indoors in this part of the country, which is why it's the perfect spot for camping.
Visitors can choose from seven campgrounds in the middle of the woods, next to the river, or alongside the lake.
Lower Mountain Fork River is a popular fishing and swimming area. The sounds of rushing water are so peaceful, you'll never want to leave.
Broken Bow Lake is located right next to several of the campgrounds and is one of the clearest lakes in the state. You can rent paddle boats, canoes, kayaks, boats, or just relax and enjoy the views from your campsite.
It's hard to explain just how beautiful this place is. There are over 1300 acres of dreamy landscape that will make you feel like you stepped into a fairy tale.
