It’s the perfect place to escape to when you need a dose of nature and relaxation.

Hueston Woods Lodge is located within the park and is certainly eye-catching; its triangular roof and matching interior make for interesting architecture, yet it has a wonderful, rustic charm. The lodge includes a delicious restaurant that's open for every meal of the day, every day of the year, as well as 92 rooms, conference areas, a bar, common spaces, an indoor and an outdoor pool, and more.

The spacious guest rooms are clean and comfortable, and many have balconies with views of Acton Lake, which sits just behind the lodge. Choose from a King bed, two Queens, or a Luxury Suite that has a living area and separate bedroom.

Not every room have this view, so if it's something you'd like, be sure to choose the appropriate option and be specific when you make your reservation. You'll definitely want to get one if they are available - the views alone are reason enough to visit the lodge.

In the summer months, Hueston Woods Lodge also offers a large outdoor pool that overlooks the lake. There's an outdoor eatery by the pool, so you can grab a bite to eat and something to drink while splashing around.

Staying at the lodge also gives you easy access to the natural beauty of Hueston Woods State Park. Choose from a number of hiking trails that take you around the lake, past waterfalls, and through the quiet woods of the area.

If you'd like a bit more privacy, consider booking a cabin. There are Family Cabins, Couples Cabins, and Premier Cabins, all of which offer equipped kitchens, heating and air-conditioning, and all of the comforts of home, but in a secluded, wooded setting. You'll still have access to the same amenities as guests in the lodge.

No matter which type of room or cabin you decide to book, be sure to save time for just relaxing in and around the lodge. Grab a drink at the bar, have a picnic outside, make s’mores over a fire pit, and take full advantage of a stay at this breathtaking hotel near Cincinnati.
